Our Story
Star of the North Primitives is a family owned
and operated business, located in the heart of the Northwood's in
Hermantown, Minnesota. Our home is home to many wonders of nature
including Lake Superior.
I began my journey in 1999 with the desire to make a better candle.
With a few hundred dollars and a drive to learn, I set out. From my
little kitchen candle operation, I have evolved. Today I am selling
to people and businesses all over the United States and the World!
My family is my
staff. There are never a lack of hands to pitch in and help! I value
the importance of family and feel this creates a special element not
found in just any product. When you purchase from Star of the North
Primitives, rest assured it came from our family and home to yours
with great love and care.
I strive every year to bring you new and exciting products and still
remain one of a kind.

We are located in Duluth, MN. We do not have a store front location, this is
just our manufacturing facility.
